Extremism in Motion: Mapping and Analyzing Far-Right Radicalization Through Sports Clubs

Romania

Description

Extremism in Motion explores how far-right radicalisation spreads across Romania and Europe, combining investigative journalism with scientific research led by a PhD researcher from the Elie Wiesel National Institute. The project bridges field reporting and academic analysis to examine how extremist narratives evolve, circulate, and shape communities. By linking journalism and science, it aims to enhance public understanding and strengthen democratic resilience.

“Investigating extremism is never easy — but ignoring it is far more dangerous. We want to shed light on how hate evolves, before it turns into something society can no longer control.”
